Eye is getting more blue
I have never seen this in a whippet puppy i have bred before but one of the pups eyes is getting more blue and more blue and the other one has gone dark now
I am taking him to the vets on mon but wanted to ask your view on here as well Has far as i can see he has no problems seeing out of it Any ideas ?

that is a beautiful little pup, havent a clue about the eye though have never heard of an eye getting more blue unless going blind but I doubt it

I cant give any advice unfortunately, but he is a stunning pup, I'm in love with his eyes

Don't think I've seen a Whippet with blue eyes before! Reminds me of BC pups with blue eyes though - the ones I've seen have had eyes that got progressively bluer between about 7-12 weeks and then fade to a paler blue as they get older. They were all Merles with one exception.
To me it looks like he's just got a naturally blue eye as opposed to a cause for concern but let us know how you get on

I would definitely speak to your vet about it whippets don't have blue eyes. Those born with blue eyes they go brown before they are ready to leave mum

Thanks for info so far not having any luck on net for info On why some whippets have a blue eye I have never seen one
He had lovely blue eyes when a baby but the last week one eye has gone brown and the other has gone blue
