Re: Missinformed by Stud provider please advise

Are you a troll??!
I think judging by the OPs previous responses everyones points are falling on deaf ears!!!!! Poor dogs!!! People like you should not be allowed to keep animals as you obviously are in it to make a fast buck and don't care one bit about your poor dogs or the puppies they'll produce!

And if you don't know there is a difference between breeding guinea pigs and dogs then PLEASE find more suitable homes for your dogs or neuter them!!!

another load of pups for rescue then
would be breeders breeding from pets should be made to visit a rescue center on the days dogs are put down
might make them think twice
same could be said for anyone churning pups out

I'm really annoyed to say the least I did tell him & his wife that my bitch was 19mths before booking him. I stupidly paid upfront as I'm new to dog breeding & not I'm worried I won't get my money back. The stud owner is telling me to wait until she's out of season to return him but he's already specified that his dog won't preform...

Has any experienced a dog that will not tie with other dogs under 2? I've read that you can breed a bitch on her 3rd season from 18mth of age.
Age has nothing to do with a tie. It is likely that your bitch is not gripping him tight enough, or his bulbus glands aren'r swelling enough.

A dog will not mate with anything out of season without it being pure rape. He will also like rip her vaginal wall to shreads due to lack of cornification.

Is that why you're breeding your bitch so young - because Guinea Pigs have to have a litter early before the pelvic bones fuse together and make birth an impossibility?

I used to breed and show Gunea Pigs so know this for a fact - but with dogs it's completely the opporsite.

This "stud" owner - is he really a proper "stud" owner or just a bloke up the road who's dog happens to be the same breed and have b*lls?? Whatever the answer is he obviously knows zero when it comes to mating dogs, has he even asked you how many days into her season your dog is? I doubt it, sounds like he's taking you for a ride!

You mean there's a difference between breeding guinea pigs and dogs?

No wonder my guineadog idea isn't taking off

Duke isn't happy in the hutch as it is but how was I going to mate them otherwise??

well im certain your reason to breed wasnt the same as mine!

im amazed at your comparison with breeding GP'S ....which by the way should also be done responsibly and not just be bred to supply the pet market!..
