Yes I will do now.
TBH the vet I saw this week surprised me a bit... seems very 'hands off'. She was surprised Lou had been having canine herpes vac's (many vets at this branch) and at my request for dopram. When I mentioned Lou had been scanned with a large litter, she said they won't all survive you know, a dog that size won't be able to meet the needs of 8 (nutritionally) end of sentence, no advice. Bloomin good job I have puppy bottles, syringes, and welpi ready then in it!

cant offer advice but im sure someone with more experiance will be along soon, as for your vet
there hopless most of the time when it comes to breeding, they are great when things go wrong for the emergancy c section however dont realy have much knowlage in the whole breeding and puppy bit(jmo of vets near me), a valued vet is one who breeds themself![]() good luck with the pups and wouldnt worry about numbers to much,yea it seems a big litter but my sisters little jack russle had 8 and all lived and fed fine you just have to montier weights so no one is geting puched out, whens your girl due? |
