Re: not going so good :-(

Thanks for the update, puppies are beautiful. I sincerely hope they continue with their improvement in health. With regards to the little 'un keep her on the teat with the best flow, I had a really small pup with my last litter (many years ago) but with extra care he made it and went on to have a nice life with a lovely family. WELL DONE, 11 out of 10 for the standard of care you are providing, you should be proud of yourself.

Re: not going so good :-(

hi quick update , the pups are doing much better all latching on good apart from the little 1 she still needs help staying on apart from that shes good , we have found a good routine of letting mum feed the pups every 2 hours a little cuddle and she cleans them , then we move her to a different room , for a nice rub down wash ,a feed. out to poop then rest its made a real big difference to her as she isnt so warm and restless , and she manages the night time much better ,
as for sleep not much, its just like auto mode now its worth it when you see the little ones swimming about there bed and suckling as i would of been in a much worst state if they never made it , id rather be tired no sleep seeing my girl with her babys than not being able to sleep upset over what could of been.
ive had a few litters a number of years ago( not frencys) but never had a litter like this before, its been hard , upsetting and happy all at the same time , but in future if i get all puppy broody ill buy 1 !!!
and any one who comes on this forum even thinking of breeding send them to my thread , if you think it wont happen it will and can ,
heart ache lots!
vet bill HUGE !
tiredness looooooooads !
thanks again every one its been heart warming reading all the comments and concerns , and thanks for the pms, and archiboy for you advice youve all been a big help knowing people care , theres not many left in the world that truly care for animals , i used to take unwanted dogs in and rehome them and believe me ive seen it all , but i can honestly say the people on this forum are a rare breed , keep up the good advice every one its a big help to people ,
