Number of teats
Im just curious, does it depend on breed, do all bitches have the same number, or does t depend on the individual bitch? My springer and golden retriever both have 9 teats

Can have anything from 8 - 13 (someone may say more! - and they well could have I guess)
My girl who I lost had 11. This girl has 10 Was told that a odd number in a bitch was considered a fault in the show ring! dont know if its true or not!

I always thought Tula had 8 even thru her pregnancy but a few days of her feeding her pups i noticed a 9th one on her right side on her chest... I felt it at first and panicked and thought it was a tick because it was so small.
Now her milk has dried up its gone

not that i count them oftern..lol think some dogs can have inverted ones which can make them apper to have less
