Thumbs up Missouri, USA - Prop-B passes!

once known as the SHOW-ME state, Missouri took a nasty detour with state-supported and Ag-promoted
*Blue Ribbon* puppy-mills with of course, second-, third- and Nth-class pup-mills ranked way,
way behind them... many deserve no 'ribbon' but a black-ribbon funeral-wreath.
they're crowded, poorly-lit, noisy, filthy, with matted dogs, contagions, wire floors or mud-bottom pens...
grotesque is not an exaggeration.

http://tinyurl.com/25zmdst

even the BLUE-RIBBON mills produced poor-quality pets, as they were warehoused, not -reared-...
pups with minimal human-contact and no prior experience of human-environs:
HOMES and their noises, smells and sounds were alien to these pups, plus the shock of being shipped,
often to in-state bunchers first, then to air-hubs and finally trucked to a pet-shop,
decanted from a crate, bathed to get the feces + urine off, and put on display in a cube-cage,
for double or treble their purchase [including the cheap-crate and air-freight].

with a SPEAKER-in-waiting who is a corporate-lackey and anti-consumer, among other unhappy
election news, THIS is one solid Good Thing. Yay! they're not -GONE- but they'll be under
much tighter scrutiny; it's a start.

hopeful,
- terry
