Anyone any idea were I get it done?
I was going to ring the kennel club but I thought I would ask on here first.

Re: DNA testing for CEA

OptiGen - homepage headlines - genetic diseases in dogs - canine genetic testing - Ithaca, New York do the dna test for CEA, I got Skye's blood taken at an optigen clinic (look at clinic schedule for a clinic near you), they then send it to optigen or you can get your own vet to take the blood for you and send it yourself.

Re: DNA testing for CEA

I was going to suggest Optigen as well.

Before getting the test done, check with the KC which organisation they are taking the results from - there are now a number of organisations performing DNA testing, but there is only one recognised tester for each condition with the KC - in Labs it is

Optigen for the Optigen test and
AHT for the CNM test

If the tests were done through anyone else, the KC would not display them on their health database.
