Re: Mismate injection

Yes of course I did. Because I`ve had unspayed bitches and taken the trouble to get a book out of the library and read about them.
When I had children I read books about baby care. When I got a house I found out about simple repairs. It ain`t rocket science, is it?

I think it depends on which books you get, there are heaps, we got two before we got Banjo & neither mentioned the injection, there are probably alot more out there that dont either

Re: Mismate injection

I hadn't heard of it prior to being on here but our previous bitch was spayed, we had Harvey neutered and are just waiting to get Willow spayed at the right time. But had the situation ever arisen I would have rung the vets for advice as soon as possible.

Re: Mismate injection

Known about it since the early 70's when I first started working at vets, but then we were using stilboestrol
