season

This is is not a breeding question but im puttin it in this bit as i think it is more suitable here.
I want your opion?
my 9 month old cav is in season i think she is swollen but not bleeding -my male dog is giving it away because he is trying get at her.
Is this normal or what all my other dog ive had when in season bleed ?
Do you think she will start bleeding soon-she as been like this for a few days.
I have wiped her with a tissue a few minutes ago but just a bit of clear discharge.

this is what i am thinking so i am keeping my dogs apart just in case.
i was hoping another member may have experienced this.
if it was not for my male dog i would not have picked up on this because my other dogs bleed when they are in season..

She sounds like she's doing the same as shila when she was in season so it does sound like a season except the bleeding but then Shila only put her tail to one side when she was on her last fertile week, so maybe your bitch has had a full silent season and because ur boys have started showing interest u've noticed?
i've just rung my friend about it for you aswell, her bitch has always had normal seasons this seems to be a one off, she has spoken to the vets and the vet reckons it's highly unlikely it will happen again. x

Is her fanny swollen up badley??? maybe shes due in and ur male dog knows it???? my dogs turn their tails to the sides wen not in season anyways so that bit to me means nixy unless shes lifting her fanny up aswell as turning her tail.
