why is buyer asking this??

Hi there,im new to this site but just need some advice about this buyer who as put a deposit down on one of my shih tzu girls, ive vetted her and she seemed fine, i answerd all her questions reply to all her phone calls, emails, text messages even said it was fine for her to come and vist again this weekend even though i know she will stay for yet another hour!! i just thought she was very excited! the shih tzu she will be buying from will be DLR i also have 2 other bitches which are kc reg. the women replied to my ad via the DLR website. Yesterday she sent me a email saying that she has noticed a ad i have posted about my latest litter which are kc and wants to know why im selling them for more! and what the difference between them and in her words "OUR" pups, is it me or is this a personal question? what would you say to her?

I'm not sure why you think thats a personal question... I think its perfectly reasonable to ask why two litters are priced differently - she could be worried that something is wrong with the litter she is having a pup from.

Can I ask what DLR is? I've googled but cant find anything.

Dog lovers register I believe.... non KC reg'd pups, so can't be shown in KC shows etc if new owner wants to at any time.

Dog lovers Registration you can register anything on here, it fools a lot of the gp into thinking its some sort of reputable registry.

Re: why is buyer asking this??

I think that's a reasonable question. Not unlike a buyer asking a reputable breeder why the show quality pups cost more than the ones intended for pet homes, really.

I would go ahead and answer the buyer, but I'd also have some questions for the buyer. From what you've described, you have a highly motivated buyer who's suddenly having second thoughts. Try to get to the bottom of those second thoughts so you feel secure that the buyer will provide the right level of commitment to the pups.
