Good advice has already been given to you so I have nothing really to add. I shall try and get a good informative link so that you can print it out re Care of the Pregnant Bitch, this may help you, although you really need to find out if your bitch is pregnant or not first and foremost then get those health tests done IMO of course

I never change the diet until they are 6 weeks and i know that they are having pups.
I think you should cut down the extra food as it will not help her when whelping. |

I didnt feed my bitch any more than she would usually have throughout any of the pregnancy in fact i fed her less and the puppies came out on the top end of average birth weight for the breed. Every single bite of food will go straight to the pups.. and exess fat will make it harder to shoot them out i've been told by everyone.
also dont feed exess calcium because it can lead to eclampsia when whelping (especially in smaller breeds) which is fatal |
