Re: Would You?

Another reason i wont is that if they are left for hours at a time they start chewing and then that becomes a habit. Then there is the house training problem, how can someone who isnt with the pup be consistent in the training,if it has accidents during the day it will soon start thinking in the house is where you go to the toilet

Re: Would You?

I would ask if some sort of arrangements could be made for the puppy whilst they were at work. If some one could go in to the puppy dring the day if it wasn't ready to go for walks then to let it i the garden and play with it for an hour or so or if it could go to relations during the day.
Saying that if no other arrangements could be made for the puppy during they day then no I would not let them have one. I have puppies at the moment and my OH feeds them whilst I am out they have 4 meals a day how can you feed them correctly if you're not there and as already said leaving them all day can start problems such as chewing through boredom
I work full time as does my OH but he does shifts and is at home part of the day also my mother in law lives with us and lets the dogs into the garden during the day for a short while a couple at a time . She wouldn't cope with them all outside together. I am also in the process of having kennels put up so they will be able to go outside in the day anyway.
