Re: Boarding kennels Scotland?

Thought I would bump this thread as I'll need to put Molly into kennels this year (29th June to 2nd july) and I want to get some checked out and booked as I know this is the start of the school holiday period.

If anyone has good recommendations of boarding kennels around the Glasgow area (preferably East) please let me know.

I put my dog in Crowbank kennels in 2 occations, both for 2 weeks and all seemed good. She was happy to see us but still get fussed by the people that worked their when we came to pick her up. The dogs get out twice a day...

I am going on a holiday for 4 weeks and I need to put her in kennels. I am planning on using different kennels this time, who let the dogs out atleast 4 times a day. They are Airth cattery and kennels... going to check them out at the weekend.

Whereabouts are these? Looking for something near to glasgow if possible, however, if the kennels are good I will obiviously travel.

Thanks

Re: Boarding kennels Scotland?

I think this one might be too far for you both but I use Lochdene Kennels in Barry/Carnoustie. They show cocker spaniels and give the dogs a lot of attention and exercise. The staff are excellent with them and if you want to take a look around, you just show up. They prefer this as it gives you a chance to see what they are really like without giving them any time to clean the place or make it more presentable and attractive than it usually is.

My two boys love seeing them and get spoilt with attention from the staff. It can't be bad when both dogs whine once they get enar the place and get so excited when they see the staff.
