Re: Agility measuring! (cheshire)

Hi

I am still waiting to hear about my slot!!!

Maybe she is getting those that need to be measured in first, as I have a year to go before mine is desperate!

Do you train with Wilmslow? If so you probably know Andrea, I know her well, we used to go to Ribble together years ago and she worked for a while at the same place as me.

Oh my it all sounds very complicated this agility.

Is this at myerscough college? ive havnt started training my dog yet because of working when most classes train but i may go and visit a few comps to get a feel for what goed on and to get my badly behaved border a bit more used to things.

Re: Agility measuring! (cheshire)

Hi

Yes it is, the agility show is all day on 21st November, in the horse arena, you can't miss it.

Anyone is welcome to watch, however dogs not entered in the competition are no supposed to be taken to the show, although I am not sure how they could police it with such an open venue.

Myerscough tends to be a bit manic, as it is indoors, there is lots of noise echoing around the indoor school, not the best place for a dog just starting out!

Re: Agility measuring! (cheshire)

My dog has issues with other dogs so im trying to find somewhere to take him in a slightly controlled environment to try and get him used to other dogs as oppsed to walks where people let their dogs run around like lunatics around other people dogs with no concern or control over them.

Re: Agility measuring! (cheshire)

Hi

You would be right to leave your dogs at home then!! Agility is not the best place to take a dog that you don't need winding up!!

I have got my slot for re-measuring at 11.10, so hopefully she is still a small - not sure what I will do if she has grown!!

Do you two fancy meeting up? I have not doubt there won't be time for a coffee or anything, but a chat at the ringside may be in order!

Kate
