Re: I'm 1st!!!! LOL

I think its easy to do both dog sports, and others...
All are different, and a smart dog knows this....

I compete in agility, flyball, obedience, heelwork to music, showing, shepherding and FT.
My dogs know the difference between them all, and they know the different behaviours required by them at each event.

Train your dog well and it will excel in all 'sports' and activities.

Fleur got it right first time - with agility it's how long will it take you to learn to teach you dog what you want it to do? Master that and the rests easy!

Re: I'm 1st!!!! LOL

Providing the dogs are taught properly, there should be no problems at all. Mine do both - and more! I make sure that commands are kept seperate - Ready, Go and the dogs name for flyball and then whatever is needed for agility - turns, obstacle names, etc, and then different again for obedience - trying to remember them all is the hard part!!! LOL

Steph.

WOW - Steph, you must be busy doing all different thing with your dog.
I'm sure the dog fins it all easy - but I'd crack up for sure having to remember which commands are for what
