Does anyone know where to get indoor agility equipment?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for Dog Agility equipment for an indoor centre, but the kind that is in pets at home is just to light weight.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would really appreciate any help

What sort of indoor centre? Normally you would use the same equipment as outside. We train in an indoor horse riding school in the winter, it has a sand surface, we use the same equipment as we use outside on a field in the summer.

Where there's a solid floor so you can't peg equipment down, you use sandbags. Weaves are a bit of a problem, I can't peg into my artificial grass without ruining it, so I bought channel weaves (from Adams) and fasten the two sides together with velcro. The new style weaves that are being made to fit the new KC regulations have the option of a longer stabilising side bar - that should help.

Agility at Crufts has been going on without pegging any equipment for yonks. Apart from a dog getting caught up in the floppy tunnel last year, (and that was down to the course design, making the dog turn sharp out of it) no major problems. Crufts weaves are velcro'd to the carpet.

So just get regular stuff from wherever you can. Bear in mind the new regulations, so get weaves with the new spacing despite there's going to be a lot of the old type being sold off cheap!

Look at AgilityNet website. They carry ads for equipment in the agility warehouse, also look at the fleamarket page.
