Zac's 2nd Agility class video
Hi everyone,
Myself and my dog Zac have recently taken up agility for a bit of a hobby to have together. We had our 2nd class last week and I wanted to share the video of one of his runs. This was the first time Zac had ever attempted any of the obstacles off his lead. I was so worried he's just run off and take himself for a walk but he was brilliant and I was so proud of him! We are by no means perfect so please ignore the faffing round at the begining and the little mishap halfway through when my other half has to come to the rescue! ![]() Enjoy! Re: Zac's 2nd Agility class video
Sounds like Zac is having a great time, my dog Jack loves the contact things the best, but i have to tell him "steady" sometimes as he goes on them so fast ,lol what breed is your dog? My Jack is (we think) a x JR/Cairn,

Re: Zac's 2nd Agility class video
He looks fantastic flying over those jumps! I can see the cairn in him. Zac likes the contact stuff too but I do have to slow him down, he gets so excited he just wants to run off and do his own course! The tunnel is his one weakness. I can just see his little head thinking "Why do I have to go through here? It's much quicker just to go around!" But with more practice I'm sure we will get there.
We think Zac is part fox terrier and part jrt. Not 100% sure though as he came with no history, that's just based on looks. |

Re: Zac's 2nd Agility class video
I am sure I recognise that venue - wouldnt happen to be in dawlish would it?
If you are just looking at agility just for fun that thats great. Personally when i teach beginners classes you wouldnt be doing a whole course yet as we like to teach each obstacle individually that way the dog has a better understanding of them. |

It's just outside Dawlish, in Ashcombe so probably the place you recognise. We don't do the whole course. We do each part in sections, the video is our last run of the day trying to link up the obstacles we had worked on. We are just in it for the fun really if we do get any good maybe we'd have a go at competing but it's not the main agenda so to speak. I'm just glad it tires him out! ![]() |
