Reccomendation please

Hi my springer Jess will be one tomorrow. I have always wanted to do agility with her . Please can someone recommend a good club? I live near Southam, Warwickshire. I know at just 1 tomorrow her joints etc are not magically any better that they are today ie the date is only a number so I will still be taking it easy on her joints but I am keen to get started asap and am under the impression 1 is the age you are allowed to start.

Can anyone give me some tips in what to start with or look for too as there seems to be a few places doing agility around me but I don't know what is good and bad.

Hope that makes sense.

Re: Reccomendation please

I don't personally know anything about your area, but in terms of cost it's better to go with a KC registered or other affilliated club rather than a commercial venture run by an individual. Clubs make their money through running shows so can keep training costs down. Look at AgilityNet, clubs A-Z web page. You can type in your postcode and it searches for clubs near you. Good luck and have fun!

Re: Reccomendation please

Thank you. I have had a look on there. There is one local to me but they don't seem very organized, put beginners with experienced and it is £5 per session. I get the impression you are just there to teach your dog on your own without much input from them. There is also one attached to where we already do obedience. There is a 8 week wait for a begginer course so if we got on the next course after that we would miss a a few sessions as she is due to be spayed. They are £5 per year top join (already a member anyway) and £2 per session. KC Reg too. I'm not really sure what I should be looking for in a club anyway.
