BFA Membership

Hi guys and girls i am new to flyball been going a year in the summer, my dog still in starters so don't need to yet, but when his ready for open this form is confusing me! Hoping to start starters competitions in june his a barker as gets over excited so havent competed yet but once he gets going and makes the open team i understand he can't compete without BFA Membership so how do i fill this form in. Never competed before whats a BFA Number and how do i find this out? and for BREED if you know the combination of the two crosses do you write Border Collie cross GSD or just plain crossbreed. It says new members need to fill in all boxes or form, make sure its signed and dated and send with payment. Do i fill this form in when the time comes or does the team captain do it!

Re: BFA Membership

I'm in the same boat as you, I started training last summer, have my 1st starters comp this weekend. I've printed the form off, but don't know what team name to put, I train with Essex, but they have several teams, do I just put Essex for the team name or do I need to know which team? and for the number, I notice that there is a 3 digit number, then A, B, C, etc after, do I put the 3 digit number or do I need to know the letter at the end?

Re: BFA Membership

You will be given a BFA number so just leave that bit blank if you have a cross breed just put this in You will need to know your teams BFA number so ask your team Captain For your team name its the main name if you know what i mean like i train with the Hampshire Harriers (which is the main team) but we also have Hampshire Hogs/Hooligans/Hounds ect

I hope that makes sense if not i'm sure someone at your flyball group would be glad to help.
