transport ??

hi all,

iam looking for some advice, im hopefully going to be picking up two female chinchillas this week for my college, i am just wondering what i could use to transport them ?? and whats the best way to keep them calm and relaxed during the travel ?

would a small plastic carrier be suitable ?

i have:
2x dogs (rottweiler and a jug),
1x african grey parrot,
x1 baby budgie,
5x syrian hamsters (toupe, baby, mocha, peach and daisey),
4x winter white dwarfs (lucy, blossom, sunshine and harry),
3x leaf insects (dont have names - 1 male, 2 females),
9x snakes (at the moment 8 are babies and for sale),
and a male tarantula (spinner)

I always use a cat or small pet carrier , you can pad the base wih newspaper or something soft ( an old towl or tea towel) I also tend pop something in for them to chew or a small handful of hay as well , though I have found most chins tend to sleep on a journey

Whilst its not hot anymore do make sure the car does not get hot of they can suffer and die from heat exaustion

I got the Aladino Carrier for Small Pets by Ferplast for Furby from Pets at Home. It was really inexpensive and the perfect size for her
