shelves????

ok since the biting fiasco that was apparent i have now been able to change some of the shelves in his cage and have noticed that he dosent like big shelves he prefers to squeeze him self on to a old chewd up thing thats bearly holding on.... i have changed it now but now he wont even sit on the new one.... i really do mean it was about 2 inches squared and he loved it...... is it just that chins like small spaces or is chico just a freak of nature... he did have a bad start to life and was neglected by a previous owner. could this be phycilogical damage to my boy!!! if so how can i get him to over come what ever is wrong with him..

Smile Re: shelves????

He just likes what is familiar to him. Leave him to it and he will come round to his new shelves, especially if treats seem to appear on them.

Re: shelves????

Chins can take a while to get used to new things , I am sure he will soon start adding his 'designer touches' to his new shelves
