Smile help with spraying a old cage

i am looking to re-paint my old cage as has some rust i dont have a clue where to start! what is safe for pets? and where to buy the paint thanks!

If the cage is glavanised wire then you can re spray it with any of the plastikote range which carries the label "safe for kids"

However you do need to build up several coats of the stuff in order to get a really good finish, sand down the area to be sprayed first to avoid a "lumpy" looking finish. Also do make sure it is 101% dry before putting your chins back in

As Susie said, Plastikote is excellent to use and I would recommend the Silver Metallic can.....green with a bright silver lid
B&Q and similar type DIY places should stock it.
Make sure it's completely dry before you put your chin(s) back into it though
