Charcoals are not Black Velvets - they rare and only a few breeders keep them, they are a recessive colour and do not have the white chest that "normal" chinchillas have.

Here is a breeder wh specialises in them

I breed pure recessive charcoals and I wouldn't part with any to just anyone either. The charcoal mutation is too rare to mess about with.

yeah, but when you in particular have given me advice in the past, it was friendly and good advice which is what i wanted. Claires advice is always great as she knows what she's talking about.
