Mad question! Could my cats be stolen at a show??

Hi all
sorry i know you think I'm mental!!! but has any cat ever been actually stolen from a show? I'm just thinking that you can't be with them all the time and how easy would it be for someone in the public to come along and steal him/her?

It's possible. No idea if it has happened. I keep my eyes on my cats.

Yes, unfortunately i do know of a cat being stolen from a show - it was quite a long time ago, but it was a colleague of mine who had a girl taken - she did get her back eventually after (I think it was) a couple of months.

That is the only case I know of though. It's not something that happens at every show, thankfully!

I would think there are procedures to stop this happening but I will only be attending my first show next month.

How awfull for that person who had their cat stolen, I would be heartbroken, luckilly she got her back in the end.

I will be keeping a VERY close eye on my babies.
