allison6564 is on a distinguished road
Well that's first bath over and done!!!!

Well I ahve to say that Ollie my Maine Coon boy was an absolute star!!! I'm not saying he enjoyed it but didn't really struggle and not one scratch!!!! Now considering he was gooped and then shampooed twice I think was amazing for first time, bless him. There is no way on this earth I will ever get a hair dryer near him though We just kept running back and forth from the dryer using warm towels to dry him but in the end he looked magnificent!!! I took loads of pics but have loaded onto my flikr site

Stan on the other hand who is always trying to jump in the bath with us hated it!!! I felt so sorry for him. I don't think it was the actaul bath but Stan doesn't like being handled and picked up (although he loves cuddles, sitting on my lap on HIS terms etc) and I think it was the handling he didn't like rather than the bath. Also no chance with the hair dryer but ebing short haired he wasn't to bad. As Stan will be enetring any shows as pet then I think a good wipe with pet wipes and a general clean will be fine for him on future shows and so he can miss the bath!!! lol

Well we're off to to the Souht Ribble Pet Cat Show tom so another tester day to see how Ollie and Stan enjoy the day, fingers crossed.

I also want to say a HUGE thanks to all of you that have helped with advice etc and especailly Izzie for the long but informative email re the bathing!!!

Thanks
Allison
