Should I show???

I looked at Pumba's pedigree when i bought her home yesterday and i was amazed.
Her father is a grand champion and her grandparents and prior are all grand champions and champions.
I didnt realise she has such good ancestry! I knew she had champions in her bloodline but didnt realise just how much.
If it helps to give you the details of her pedigree I will do it when I get home.

Does this mean that I should show her? My breeder tells me she is excellent and has no flaws in her pedigree etc. etc.
Some of the other kittens in the litter have kinked tails which is a defect in the Burmese line but she doesnt have that.

She has a beautiful coat and not a glimse of any defects in the colouring.

I am no expert at all which is why Im asking u guys - i guess it can be difficult tho as you need to know the Burmese breed to be able to advise me on that?

Re: Should I show???

Show cats (and I mean the ones that really are likely to win), come few and far between even from great lines.

The only thing you can do with your Burmese is take her along to a couple of shows and see what she does.

Re: Should I show???

If her Breeder thinks she is show quality then enter her and see what the judges think. All you can do.

The kittens I bred had a great pedigree, really good cats in there but they were pet quality!

Just take her and see.
