South Ribble Pet Cat Club HP show

Please excuse cross posting but schedules and entry forms finally up on website!! South Ribble Pet Cat Club

Anyone who would like to enter we have an early bird discount of £2 per cat until end of August plus entry fees are low (£12 basic for members and £14 for non-members). Whilst we cannot award official GCCF Master Cat certificates we do now have our own Ribble Master awards (thanks to a certain someone for the suggestion!!) , including Grand and Imperial classes for existing GCCF master cats! to try for a Ribble Grand etc, special certificates and rosettes will be awarded!

We are also having pedigree pet type open classes as well so anyone who has a pedigree can do them, or, of course, can put a cat on exhibition (special "name" rosettes for each one). Brill rosettes for each class, loads of trophies and amazing BIS etc rosettes and prizes plus plenty of freebies. We also run a heat of the Royal Canin Non-Pedigree Stakes for any genuine non-ped or rescued/part ped, and have a special "knock-out" competition throughout the day as well, all cats entered free of charge as an extra thank you for entering, again, special rosette, goodies and winners pen for the winner.

We really do need a good entry this year as all the profits go to our associated charity so please, anyone who can, enter, and anyone who can't, please consider sponsoring a set of rosettes, taking an advert or entering the photo competition??? Or even coming along to visit on the day. Every single penny counts.

Thanks!!

Carol

Re: South Ribble Pet Cat Club HP show

I have to order the rosettes by next Wednesday, 24th September, at the very latest so if there is anyone who has been thinking of entering but hasn't yet, I MUST have the entry here by Tuesday 23rd or I will have to reject it I am afraid. I was hoping to be able to keep entries open until after the North West but our suppliers are very, very busy and have put an absolute deadline of the 24th on us. To order by then I need to be processing the last entries on Tuesday evening.

Thanks

Carol

Re: South Ribble Pet Cat Club HP show

Please forgive the cross posting but needs must.

Our 15th annual pet cat show is to be held on10th October and due to rising costs we really do need every bit of sponsorship we can get! I am therefore appealing to your better natures and asking/begging if anyone could spare anything at all to sponsor rosettes or to enter the photograph competition we would be really, really grateful. ALL profits go to our associated charity the SRPCC Cat Welfare Trust (reg charity 1049984) which offers financial assistance via local vets to pensioners struggling to meet vet bills and to strays in need of urgent veterinary attention. So obviously, the more money we make, the more help we can offer!

The options are varied - enter a photo or more for 50p per photograph - rosettes and small prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each of the 5 categories, plus all 5 winning photos appear in our 2010 calendar. Sponsor a set (or more!) of rosettes for £5/£10 a set - you can sponsor in memory or honour of cats or people!), or can advertise your prefix or business - a line will appear against each class sponsored), and for larger donations we can often also do you a half or full (depending on amount sponsored) page advert in the catalogue. Or simply take out an advert!

Anything would be most gratefully received, no matter how large or how small! it all goes to a good cause and if you are a business you can claim the amount back against tax as a charitable donation!

The relevant forms are on the club website and can be printed and posted with cheque/PO or, for a small extra fee to cover costs we can also accept Paypal if that is easier!

Thanks for at least taking the time to read!
