GCCF and Changes of Judges
This is a question for those who have experience of showing under GCCF rules and possibly other shows who have similar conditions for reaching championship (if there is such a thing).
When you show your fur-child, under GCCF, you have to gain three Challenge Certificates (CCs) under three different judges. Lets say you have entered a cat under these conditions and got two CCs already and are trying for the last one. You have selected a class being judged by someone under whom your cat has not yet been judged and post off your application with the entry fee. Then there is a change of judges - your chosen class is now scheduled to be judged by someone who has seen your cat before. How do you deal with this?
Is it just bad luck - you just go to the show having paid your entrance money and collect your award (or not as the case may be) and hope the next show might offer another chance?
Or can you ring the show manager to change the class that you have entered so that you come under a different judge?
Or, can you ask for your money back and choose not to go?
