getting a cat ready for showing

hi can anyone advise as to best preparation for my baby girl before a show. someone has recommended using talc as cant bath would be too stressful for her. also some one recommended a web that sold products for getting white paws clean but have sent them 2 emails with no answer. she so luvs the outdoors but hard to get white paws clean any tips advice welcome

you could use shampoo mix on a damp cloth just to clean her paws.

Mine are mostly white and love the dirt so a bath is a must for them, I actually have no problems bathing my boys whatsoever, as long as you stay calm and gentle but firm (and clip claws first lol) then they are fine... but then again have bathed them several times from 5 weeks for Indy and 11 weeks for Misha.

You can also get grooming wipes from pet stores that can help

hi
thanks for your advice. not sure about bathing her as too old to start now. so will have a look for some grooming wipes or maybe cat shampooi could just bathe the paws in. you mentioned on here a few wks ago something you put in their food when they moulting what is it called i cant remember. decided to go to the cornish rex show on 11th entry form gone off.going to look at a fife show on sat to see what involved. hope your babies ok
