2 questions that are probably stupid.

1. Does it matter that my cat's pet name is on her vacc. cert. and not her show name?

2. I'm getting married at the end of the year & just realised that I will need to change my name for the cat - do GCCF charge for this???

Re: 2 questions that are probably stupid.

Actually yes it does matter about the name on the vacc. cert. You must ensure that the name on the certificate corresponds to the name of the cat as entered for the show - so you do need the show name. Certificates are checked at vetting-in against your vetting-in paperwork so names must match.

I put the registered name inside the certificate and the pet name on the outside.

Re: 2 questions that are probably stupid.

In answer to question 1 - I was always advised to write the cats pedigree name on the Vac certificate too just incase it was queried.
It only needs to be handwritten next to the pet name I have done it with all mine so it will do no harm to write it.

Yes - the vet at the last show queried "Mitzi" until he saw "Huggibear Autumn Promise" written on the cover.
