I have never been to a cat show but would love to get the chance.
The problem is that they all seem to be on sat/sun and I work those 2 days. Are there any decent events which take place om a Friday, within reasonable travel distance of London??

Very ocassionally TICA hold 3 Day Shows which will start at teatime on a Friday. The show diary can be found here - Show Diary for TICA cat shows in the UK

At the moment the only 3 dayer isn't until next December although other shows may be added before then, so keep an eye on the Diary.

GCCF shows are generally on a Saturday. FIFe (Felis Britannica) Felis Britannica - UK FIFe Cat Shows and Pedigree Registrations hold shows Saturday and Sunday. Hope this helps
