Essex Cat Club Show, 9th April

Hi there, folks

I know most responses to this thread will come via PM due to the GCCF rules about publically announcing your upcoming shows, but if you're happy to answer, will any of you be attending the Essex Cat Club show on 9th of April? my mum lives near that one, and will be visiting there in the afternoon. Only problem is that she's blind. She wants to see as many different types of cat as possible, but for her, this means touching. She's aware of cross-infection worries, and will come prepared with a medical grade antibacterial sanitiser to wash hands and arms in before touching each cat. I told her I'd write and see if there were any folks who would be there and who would be willing to allow her to get up close and personal with their furries. It's not often that a show is so near her, so I want to try and help her make the most of the opportunity. I've already arranged for her to have access to the hall in the morning so that she can see how the cats are set up, penned and groomed for showing, so she at least has that to look forward to.

If you're attending and wouldn't mind a curious, cat mad nut coming for a cuddle (of the furries only, she promises me), then I'd really appreciate it if you could drop me a private message so that I can set something up for her.

carly87 has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.

Steve, I only had three in there! Is it common to be allowed to store so few of them? I've cleared them all now though. Send away and sorry for the confusion! Thank you for the heads up.

Ok then. It appears that the batteries in my wireless keyboard are dying! Let me retry that.

I said that I think i might have deleted a message sent to me that I haven't had a chance to read yet. If you've sent one and haven't gotten a reply, please could you resend? I'm sorry about this, but the forums are very difficult to use with a screen reader (the software I use to access the internet which reads all text on screen out loud to me). Failing that, please feel free to email me privately carly [dot] contact [at] googlemail.com (I've written it like this to avoid spambots picking it up).

So sorry for the confusion!
