I am so cruel! Please help I made Stan bleed!!

Hi all
I have made a major boob and we have a show in the morning!
I was trimming Stan's nails (back ones) and not sure how the hell I managed it but i must of cut too low and made him bleed! I feel so bad and he has been so good, didn't even bite or scratch me ( I would of done!). He doesn't seem to be in pain with it but it is bleeding and my other problem is that it is one of his white paws and now he has all blood over it!

I have tried holding a damp cotton ball on it but it doesn't seem to be helping. Don't get me wrong it's not pouring out blood but is bleeding. Can anyone help me with some advice please?

My poor little baby I feel like such a terrible mum

Do you have a styptic pencil? That would work.
What show are you off to? We are going to the Southwestern Counties.

you would have cut his quick. i've done this before i just dabbed the claw with cotton wool to clean it up. cat was fine, she didn't care and the blood soon stopped. he will be ok.
