We're just becoming a bit worried about Rio....he still plays for up to about 10/15 minutes at a time before he goes & lies down. But he just doesn't seem very interested in much & lays down for hours at a time during the day, despite efforts of interacting with him, as well as losing his appetite. I don't know if this could be anything to do with it but he also doesn't cover his poo or wee after he's been in the litter tray. He used to until a few days ago but now doesn't seem bothered (the litter tray is cleaned out completely every few days & poo removed whenever we know that he's just been.)

i wud take him to the vets. he may jst be a little under the weather.

has there been any changes in the household lately? any kind of change even a change in litter or cleaning agent or even the smell of your clothes cud affect him. so you need to eliminate watever it is and things shud return to normal pretty soon.

Mabel did exactly the same when she became unwell. We had her for 10 days bounding around and playing then 1 day she slept all day only moving to use the litter tray. We took her to the first vet who couldn't find anything wrong, but gave her an antibiotic injection anyway. The next day she was still the same so we took her to a different vet, who said that she was severely dehydrated and had a raging temperature. So we had to syringe feed her, give her antibiotics and some paste to settle her stomach. 2 days later mabel was back to normal.
I'd say take him to the vet, he could be unwell.
