Some advice? Kitten weeing on legs!

Hi

I'm wondring if anyone can make any sugestions as we are stumped?

We have had our little kitten, Jasper for around 6 weeks now. He is now 15 weeks old and has used his litter tray without fail since day one.

He seems very happy and energetic and is great with us and visitors.

However we have one small issue. Recently. he has started coming out of his litter tray with a wet backside/legs where he seemingly has wee'd on his fur. There are sometimes a few drops on the floor outside of his tray too. It's not a great deal and he does wash himself clean but not before he's sat in a few areas of the house and left some damp patches!

To be clear, his wee is in the tray but it's almost like hes splashing or dribbling a bit on himself.

I've searched everywhere for some assistance but nobody seems o have had this problem before, or certainly haven't mentioned it online!

Any help/comments gratefully received!

I'd try putting in a bit deeper and seeing if that helps.

Try 'chick crumbs' instead of world best - it's basically the same stuff at a fraction of the price - the last bag I got cost £12 for £20 (that was with postage) - I buy it off the net. It clumps nicely, absorbs smells, barely tracks, and lasts for simply ages.

Re: Some advice? Kitten weeing on legs!

Thanks for the advice, which I have tried. It's made the issue slightly worse in that his back legs are covered in pee and litter now

Does anyone else have any other ideas?
