rescue centre cat

My kitten is nine weeks old and I got him two days ago from a rescue centre. He was brought there ten days ago with his mum and three siblings. He was very nervous at first but seems to have settled down ok in last24 hours. He purrs when I pick him up and will sit on me and has even started to roll over on me etc. However, he still prefers to sit in his bed with his blanket. he'd stay there all day apart from eating and going to his litter tray. he is very scared of his toys, SHould I just let him be and keep getting used to his surroundings or should I do something else? Thanks

since you have only had him a few days, he will just be settling in, so i would sugest just leaving him to relax and when he comes to you for attention then give him some. remember this is quite a stressful time for him at the moment, he is just away from his family and won't be use to a home situation

some cats just like to chill by theirself sometimes - even mine and they just love getting attention
