Help, I need advice on Naughty Alfie!

Hi,

My kitten Alfie, 13 wks old has been so well behaved since I got him 3 weeks ago. He always uses his litter tray, no problems..

Today Alfie walked up to the front door and had a wee in the corner and looked at me while he did it?! I'm shocked because he has never done this, and he deliberately did it!

Has anyone experienced a similar thing?

Re: Naughty Alfie!

he is marking his area.
when he goes to do it again but him in the litter tray.
you need to clean the area he did it in before because in will go back to it.hope you get it sorted soon.
but remember he is still young

Not often but yes-i think sometimes even at this grand age they forget to use the litter tray and they are boys and i've found that especially boys can be lazy but they can be trained-again much like the human ones

You will need to use a special solution on the soiled area or he will still smell it.You can get some from the vets or pet shops i use simple solution,or a similar one from vets,it contains neautralizing bacteria whichs removes stains and smells that disinfectant and other cleaners wont.

Re: Naughty Alfie!

I might suggest a few slices of lemon, as the citric acid is a complete put off! A cheap and easy remedy maybe???????? confused:

Re: Naughty Alfie!

OR - if nothing else will help - just put another litter tray in that area - foe a couple of weeks; it will make his realise that THIS shoud be done in the litter tray.
