stray cat

right im not sure where to post this but here will do lol

right princess (as i have called her) a cat that is owned by someone up the road from me is always in my house which i dont mind as i love her to bits, she has recently had a litter of kittens about 2 weeks ago since having them she has spent more time with me then she did before but i dont no where her kittens are i have spoken to her owner and basically she said she didnt care where they are her dog make her more money than the stupid cat ever will....

now as you can see the owner is a right cow bag so i am moving house over the next couple of weeks only up the road and round the corner and i am planning on taking princess with me. she is obviously a prowler as she spends some time in the house 2 doors down from me.
am i being a bitch to want to take her with me or am i doing the right thing?? i no she will get looked after with me and get vets treatment if she ever needed it along with jabs??

other thing is.... if i do take her how do i go about getting her used to living in a new house and not wandering off back here??

any advice greatly recived thank you

ps i dont even think this cat is a yr old

Re: stray cat

Sorry, I dont have much experience with outdoor cats as both mine are house cats.

As far as "being a bitch" I think it seems her owner isn't too fussed about her and she would be better off with you.

I would ask how she would feel about you taking her off her hands, and get her spayed to avoid any other unplanned kittens.

Keep us updated.

Re: stray cat

You're not seriously contemplating removing this cat from a litter of four week old kittens???

Re: stray cat

if she is happy for you to take the cat and kittens just keep her in for a few weeks, need a litter tray for her, then once she gets used to where she lives she should be fine are you keeping the kittens too? good luck
