So my kitty Mikah doesn't like Sophie. For those of you who don't know, Sophie is a nursing mom who I'm fostering. Mikah will go up to her really close and sniff her and then hiss like crazy. It's so annoying. I just want them to get along. Sophie, on the other hand, likes Mikah and doesn't react to her hissing. She just lays there calmly

it will take time Rachel - just take it slow and reassure her. Remeber she has had her home 'invaded' by another cat who had the audacity to bring kittens too! I would keep them mainly separated though because of the kittens until they are a few weeks older. Also - i don't know if you can get these in the US but you could try a feliway diffuser. That should help a bit but they take a few days of usage to start to work. If I get another cat I intend using it for a while.

I went to the store and they were out of stock of the cat diffusers. It's over 40 dollars! Online I found a much better deal.. Under 20! So I'm going to order it instead.

There was actually a cat fight the night before last.. Sophie made a smelly poo so I had to clean it in the middle of the night.. So when I opened the cage she ran out and ran after Mikah.. I've never heard Mikah make such a loud noise.. Everyone is okay but they're not to fond of each other.

they'll calm down eventually, our 2 are getting on abit better now, it's taken erm.. over a year? i think that we got neeps. bubs actuallylets her sleep near her now, but still smacks her in the face if she feels shes about to be neeped (bitten on the neck to induce play).

just let them get on with it, as long as no dire wounds occur they'll calm down eventually.
