Help/Advice needed URGENTLY

i currently have 3 cats, 1 neutered, the mother and two unneutered daughters, pedigrees. Siblings out of the same litter. They have grown up together with no problems whatsoever.

I took the two daughters to the tom and brought them back, there was a bit of hissing and growling to begin with but they soon reverted back into their family group.

The daughters gave birth in december which is when i had my first problem. The girl that gave birth first attacked quite aggressively the other when she went into labour. We separated them and assumed that it was down to hormones and pheromones.

Again they settled into their family group, grandma, mothers and kittens happily co-existing until today.

Today the sisters went to the vets for the anual boosters and the neutered had to go in for some dental work. I brought the sisters back this morning, the mother had to stay for the day.

I brought the mother home around 4pm and put her in a room on her own for a while. Approx 7pm the sisters had a disgreement that escalated into all out warfare. The two had to be separated, the aggressor being the same aggressor as previously. Anyhow things calmed down between the siters but for safetys sake they have been kept separate, the mother accidently got out of her room and the aggressive sister then actively stalked her and attacked her even though she was being very passive.

The sisters were both secreting an unpleasant smell which i assume is anal gland secretions. They are currently separated, I have feliway diffuser and spray but i am just not sure what to do.

The aggressor is currently in a room on her own meowing to be out, the other two are hiding.

I understand the vets visit could have upset them but could there be any other reason

Not really sure what to suggest, all mine have always got on fine and helped each other out in labour etc, probably to many hormones flying aboutmay be best to keep them seperate for a while.
