Is World's Best worth a try?

I've had my kitties almost a month now. I started on Oko Plus which I was pretty happy with, though tracking was a bit annoying. Also found one kitten stopped using the tray.

Now on Nature's Gold (and another tray) to see if it's any better and it is...though the huge clumps are far less flushable & don't work so well with my Omega Paw Roll 'n' Clean tray, and I'm getting through the bag much faster.

Thinking Oko Plus is the better option of the two, just wondered if another litter was worth a try or if I'll just have to get used to constant vaccuming!!

Try a mixture of Oko Plus and Natures Gold. I'm still experimenting but at the minute 75% Natures Gold 25% Oko Plus seems to give good clumping/absorption and very little tracking. I don't flush i just bag and throw so i cannot comment on flushability.

Flushing is a big bonus for us as we're in an apartment, it's why we chose the Omega Paw too since it catches bits in the tray so we're not using endless plastic bags. Trying a mixture while I've got both & will see how that goes!

Really? I've switched to Worlds Best now having used Oko Plus / Natures Gold for the last year. I've found that the Worlds Best is horrendous for tracking, by far the worst of the 3. I'm only using it out of necessity because it became apparent that the other two were most likely responsible for a persistent cough my cat had developed.

+1 - I moved from Worlds Best to Oko Plus as the stuff just got everywhere!

Just wanted to thank Obiit

I tried mixing oko & nature's gold since & it's definitely better for us than either of the two. Less mess & less huge clumps! Think I'll just top up alternatively...not as mathematically minded as some!

Re: Is World's Best worth a try?

I tried out World's Best the other day and I'd say it tracks as bad as Oko.
However, cleaning it out is much easier than Oko as the smaller litter falls through the plastic sieve much easier.

I got the extra strength one and it is really good. However the problem is the price and unfortunately I am priced out of buying it. Shame though as it's nice litter.

Oko Plus 40l (£25) bag lasts me about 4 months.
I don't see 40Kg (£67) of World's Best lasting 8 months (IE, double the price so it should last double the time).

I would guess 40Kg = 40l going from the small sample I put in. Although the packaging suggests a 3Kg bag will last one cat 28 days. After a quick bit of maths for my two kitties:

Oko Plus | 40l | £25 | Lasts 120 days
World's B | 30Kg | £67 | Lasts 140 days

Hmm. I would like to use it more but I can't justify the much higher price unless it lasts twice as long.
