stinky feet

My kitten Jenny is now 10 weeks old and is turning out very good and well behaved, she uses her litter tray without fail but has a habit of treading in the poo when covering it up.

This results in me having to clean her back feet nearly after every poo, which she cry's all the way through and claw's me.

Is this just a kitten thing or something that adult cat's do too?

I'm concerned about the feet washing as I don't want to give her a hang up about litter tray.

Any advice appreciated thanks.

Her favourite sleeping spot

Re: stinky feet

They get better at the toilet stuff as they grow! Firmer poop is also easier for them to deal with cleanly than if it is soft at all, lastly..some litters also help, I am using OKO and find it great, forms what I think of as little 'Ferrero Rochers' when they poop!

Oh my goodness...she is lush. I've just got a new black and white kitten called Tinks who looks just like Jenny. My cat used to leave the tray with a tiny bit of poop hanging from her bum then drag it on my floor! Thus leaving a slightly annoyed mummy!
