LilahSuki is on a distinguished road
My old cat doesn't want to accept my kitten, help!

I have a 7 year old cat, her name is Suki and she's lovely. But few months ago me and my boyfriend decided we have enough love for two cats. So we got a beautiful white Lilah. It was at the beginning of August and since then Suki stopped being herself.

First, when we got Lilah, she had fleas and we had to keep her in one room, which was good as Suki could get used to a new smell in the house. When the treatment was finished we decided to introduce Suki to the white fluff But it didn't go well. We tried doing it slowly, first the smells on the opposite sides of a door then we changed rooms etc. We tried to be patient.

Suki hisses and hits Lilah when the other comes too close. And Lilah wants to play with Suki.

But wait, there's more. One day we found out that Lilah is deaf We knew that most white cats with blue eyes are deaf but we hoped she can hear. But she can't So whenever Suki wants to say "stay away" with her hissing, Lilah doesn't listen and keeps following Suki. Lilah's smell sense is so strong that she wakes up when Suki is in the same room or in the next room and then the chasing begins. Suki is always so loud and sometimes aggressive. One day Lilah was sleeping on a chair and Suki came over very slowly then hissed at Lilah's face and hit her head!
So what we do is keeping Lilah at night in one room so there is no fighting when we are asleep. We feel very guilty about it but we don't know what to do. Past few days we let Lilah sleep wherever she wanted, she is a lovely kitty but sometimes she wakes us up because of Suki.

I'm worried because it's been many months and there is no progress. I will mention that Suki is an outdoor cat. Lilah is too small to jump out and we are worried because she is deaf she should be an indoor cat but she wants to follow Suki

Cute kitten plays dead - YouTube there is a video of Suki and Lilah when it wasn't that bad yet.

Now, I think, Lilah tries to be a little bit calmer, she lies on the floor and shows her belly to Suki when she can but Suki gets scared, she growls and hisses. We feel so bad because it seems Lilah wants Suki's love so bad and Suki is still stressed like never.
