Help with my Confussing shorthair
Hi, My name is Luke and i am new to this forum
my cat seems to have behavioral problems, they have been going on for much of her life (she is 5) but have recently become worrying. i am in need of some help because i don't know what to do at the moment
let me start by telling you her history, she is a short haired mackerel print puss who was born with a sister whom is a fluffy tortoiseshell with a checkerboard face. around age 9 month she had an accident and torn her diaphragm which cost £600 to fix. now she has always been the quiet cat and is totally opposite from her sister who is playful, however she does enjoy hunting for mice and birds.
the main problems began recently (about 2 months) she is sleeping more than she used to and when she is awake she normally follows you around the house and just stares at the floor when you stop, what i mean is say im watching TV she will be sat on (or in) her primark paper bag, but if i was to suddenly move to the kitchen to clean the plates she will sit on the side next to the sink and stare at either the wall or kitchen side.
another problem is when you pet her, she has started to moan in a way when you touch her, she is quite a strong cat in a sense so i don't think she is frail (only way i can seem to put it)
no tonight while i was playing some games on the PC she came and sat right in front of the monitor (blocking my view) now it wasn't a problem for me i just started to pet her and she started growling so i stop. she then huddles herself in so im trying to look around her so i can close my game and as im trying to work the mouse with my head in front of her she gives me a great big whack on my face, i then pick her up and put her on the floor. about 10 minutes later she comes back this time sitting on my lap, she gets comfy and as i go to reach over to the keyboard she goes to bite my hand as if ive just stroked her the wrong way. she then settles down again but starts growling every time i make little movements to stay on my seat
god that was long hope you read it. so if you have any help for me it would be greatly appreciated.
thank you
luke
