Litter Training Help Needed

Hi, I have had 2 kittens since Tuesday and they were fully litter trained before we brought them home. They are both males 8 weeks old. When we first brought them home we had a few accidents where they were going toilet outside of the litter tray. I thought it would just take them a little while to get used to where the litter tray was in our house.

One of the kittens has now got the hang of it and touch wood we haven't had any accidents with him for a few days.

The other kitten seemed to get the hang of it for a couple of days but has now gone back to periodically going outside the litter tray again for the past 2 days. I have gone back to putting him in the tray when they wake up and after feeding. He only seems to do it during the day and not at night.

I bought another litter tray in case they didn't want to share anymore but it doesn't seem to have made a difference.

Has anyone got any other ideas as I am at bit of a loose end. Not sure if I was hoping they would be used to where our litter trays are too soon.

I would be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks.
