Re: hey need help
Sounds like it is - have you tried Feliway or Pet rescue diffusers?

If this building work is not going to last too long, you might want to put her in a cattery for the duration. But why does she prefer to live in the bathroom? If she grew up with the dogs she should be OK with them, shouldn't she? If she is stressed out by the dogs, too, I think you will have to make a choice to either rehome the dogs or the cat, as I do not think a simple feromone diffuser will be enough to restore peace and happiness if there is constant tension between your pets.

Re: hey need help
I'm gutted, I can't find a you tube link for it, but I saw something like this on an episode of 'my cat from hell'.
The cat was constantly hiding in their litter tray, so the guy got them to take the lid of the tray (if it has 1) and place the tray in the centre of the room. As they were trained enough to use the tray they started to use the tray purely to do their business and then would find somewhere else to hide as they didn't feel secure 'hiding' in an open space. It broke the habit of sitting in their toilet first and then perked them up by introducing cat trees/levels/beds/hides around the house to encourage them to do cat-like things, so they then calmed right down. You can ignore me if you want, it's not something I've experienced first-hand I just saw it on TV. Like others have said you could try the feliway diffusers and things. Please try all you can first before resorting to re-homing.
