Kyria is on a distinguished road
my 11month old tom is getting neutered.

Hi there. Im having my 11 month old tom cat Tipsy neutered. I took him to the vets last week for the first time since he came to live with us (he belonged to my neighbour) and the vet told me he is still all intact. Tipsy is a lovely cat and is quite loving but has a side to him..(he sometimes bites you and scratches) I read this can happen when cats are overstimulated and he does get alot of attention from me and my kids in the house, something he never had before as his ex owner used to leave him out all day. Im just wondering once tipsy is neutered will he not try to bite us and also will he stay in doors more as at the moment he stays indoors for a while but than wants to go out and this goes on all day in and out in and out when he is out we miss him so much but I do live in a very quiet close and he just goes on his adventures around my neighbours gardens. Also he loves playing with a stick with a bit of string at the end (the feathers fell off) he absolutely loves this stick. The children normally run round the house with him running after them which ends up with him actually panting, but he doesnt want to stop and now I think he has become obsessed with this stick for the last couple of days he hasnt been eating so much and just lies by the stick looking at us as if he wants up to pick it up and play with him and even when he is out laying in the garden all I have to show him is "the stick" and tipsy comes running. Can cats get obsessed with certain toys...Many thanks for any replies. Kyria x
