Advice needed!

Amber is a very loving cat, but for no reason will attack you! Bite you and draw blood and whilst I adore her, it's really getting to me. She also does it to the kids and it getting a bit scary. Any advice would be great, thanks.

Re: Advice needed!

How old is Amber and how long have you had her?

Is the biting preceded by stroking or is it isolated? If it's the former it could well be Petting and Biting syndrome which can resolve with time.

Re: Advice needed!

Amber is nearly six months and I have had her since she was 7/8 weeks old. She is a bit jumpy and is scared of strangers, will run and hide when someone come in. Also very scared of people outside! Really panics when she see people outside!

She has been the same since we got her, but it hurts more as she is getting bigger! She does bite a lot when you are stroking her and sometime for no reason.

No, not stoking her belly.

I Have noticed that she seems to be worse after we have had visitors, more when my niece and nephew have been round!!!
