Well, the one boy is absolutely fine and has settled in brilliantly but the other is completely stressed out so much so that he has recently been at the vets for 4 days having investigations due to insainely bad diahorea (cant spell that!). He came home 2 days ago and is alot better but the other cat seems to be rejecting him and they no longer spend anytime in the same room. Tonight, the stressy one has soiled my bathroom rug despite having full and clear access to the litter tray - his diahorea has cleared up though thank god.
As they are indoor cats and my house is modest in size none of this is proving very easy - any advice welcome????? Has anyone tried feliway???

the other cat is prob rejecting him because he smells of the vet.
Do they have any blankets or anything like that. If so I'd try rubbing him with a blanket the other cat has been on so he smells of cat and not of vet. It's quite common for cats not to get on after vet visits. If that doesn't work you might have to reintroduce them.
What investigations did your cat have at the vets?
For now I would keep poorly cat in a small area of the house with close access to a few litter trays and let him get confident in one area again before he gets access to the whole house. Should reduce the amount of litter accidents too. Is there a room he could be kept in would also be helpful for you if it has a floor that can easily be cleaned. It was prob very stressful of him to have a new house to get used to and then a vet visit away from your other cat and now your other cat not accepting him back.
I had quite bad toileting accidents with my two when I got them in January and the one had an on off dodgy tummy until it finally got resolved by the right diet and vet treatment for parasites. They were also very timid when they came to me. I know it can be very trying.
I didn't use feliway so can't advise you on that.
