Hiya,

We collected our 2 new kittens yesterday from a farm where they were fostered by a cats protection league. My problem is that at 12weeks old they really havent been handled and when I tried today they hissed at me. I just want to know how much or little should I handling them at this stage? I totally understand they are still getting used to their surroundings and dont want to stress them out anymore.

Any help or advice would be great

Try sitting quietly in a room with them, reading or with the radio on quietly. Let them come to you at their own pace - I'm sure they will once they are used to you being there. Best of luck with them and I hope they make themselves at home soon.

Thank you for your advice. Thats what I did today so I will continue to try and build their confidence. Fingers crossed
